Crack-down on egg-stra waste this Easter

Image of an unwrapped Easter eggEaster is the biggest chocolate-selling period of the year after Christmas. Approximately 80 million chocolate eggs are sold in the UK, generating almost 5,000 tonnes of waste - equivalent to the weight of around 600 double decker buses.

Thankfully, the card, foil and plastic from Easter Eggs can be recycled in your blue-lidded bins over Easter.
