Community Action Dacorum (CAD) 

CAD aims to provide a circle of support to voluntary organisations and community groups. Its role is to promote and encourage all types of voluntary organisations in Dacorum. It provides support, funding advice, representation and a payroll service. CAD aims to provide a voice for the local voluntary sector and brings groups together to share skills, expertise and develop a collective voice.

Further services include a Community Transport Service, Connect Dacorum, Herts Interpreting and Translation Service, Hemel Hempstead Shopmobility and Paradise Furniture and Training.

Age UK Dacorum

Age UK has a mission "To promote the wellbeing of all older people and to help make later life fulfilling and enjoyable." Through networks and partnership working, it works to safeguard the rights of older people, support their active involvement as citizens and seek the fulfilment of their aspirations.

Age UK Dacorum offers a wide range of services including a handyperson service, befriending, social clubs, dementia and carers' support services. Its services are targeted at all older people (aged 50 and over) and their carers living in Dacorum.

Citizens Advice Dacorum

Citizens Advice Dacorum provides free, confidential and impartial advice and campaigns on big issues affecting people's lives. The goal of Citizens Advice Dacorum is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. It is an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales.
