Dacorum Energy Savers
We've run Dacorum Energy Savers since 1997. It aims to encourage and support local residents to save energy, save money and tackle climate change at the same time. It is part of our way of meeting the obligations set out in the Home Energy Conservation Act and the Nottingham Declaration.
Dacorum ECO Flex Statement of Intent
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) requires large energy companies to help improve the energy efficiency of domestic homes by discounting the cost of improvement works. The Government has given local authorities the ability to identify vulnerable households in their areas which could benefit from these improvements. The new scheme is called ECO Flexible Eligibility. Obligated energy suppliers will be able to use up to 10 per cent of their ECO Affordable Warmth Obligation to help install energy-saving measures in premises that we have declared eligible.
