Neighbourhood Forum
Where a neighbourhood plan is being developed in a non-parished area (such as Hemel Hempstead), a neighbourhood forum has to be created. A forum is a group of at least 21 members of the community, who live, work or are elected representatives of the local area.
To apply to become a neighbourhood forum, an application must be made to us. Once the application is approved, the group becomes a 'statutory body' that we must consult when there are planning applications affecting the area covered by the Neighbourhood Plan.
