Hemel Hempstead Town Centre is evolving.
The vision for Hemel Hempstead town centre is to develop our town into a vibrant place where people want to live, work and enjoy. The town centre will be an appealing, attractive destination with a thriving shopping centre and a welcoming environment. It is our intention to regenerate the town centre and highlight the natural and cultural assets our town already enjoys.
In order to provide these improvements, we have divided the town centre into character zones (for more information please see separate page for each zone). Each area has a number of main actions and will be delivered in three phases:
Phase 1 – by December 2012
Phase 2 – starting from January 2013
