Ways to have your say

If you live in Dacorum, the Council is part of your everyday life - so it’s important that you have a say in the decisions that affect you. There are lots of ways you can get involved in local decision making.

Join our consultation panel

Sign up to our email group so you don't miss the chance to have your say about local services and issues. Once you join, we'll send you our current consultations and surveys. You won’t have to participate in every consultation - only the ones that you feel relevant to you or would like to give us your opinion about.

Influence your councillors

If you want to influence a local decision or have a problem with a council service, you can make your case to your local councillor. Details can be found on our councillors page.

Attend a council or public meeting

Make a suggestion

Alternatively, give us feedback about our services by writing to us at feedback@dacorum.gov.uk. 

Tenants and residents' groups

Tenants and Residents Associations (TARAs) are groups of local people with a common interest in improving the area in which they live. To find out more go our Get Involved page, call 01442 228000 or email talk-to-us@dacorum.gov.uk.

Register to vote

If you do not register then you can’t exercise your democratic right to vote in any election. You must be registered by law. Find out more on our Elections and voting page.

Become a website tester

We're always looking to improve our digital services and are keen to get feedback from our users. If you would like to volunteer to help us test our new products, such as online forms, then register now.
