Berkhamsted Neighbourhood Plan

We have designated the Berkhamsted Neighbourhood Planning Area. Berkhamsted Town Council can now prepare its own neighbourhood plan.

What’s happening now?

Berkhamsted Town Council formally submitted a Neighbourhood Area designation letter and map to us on 29 August 2023. We confirmed this designation on 3 November 2023.

The Town Council has started gathering evidence and engaging with the local community to help guide the draft policies that will form the neighbourhood plan. If you would like to get involved in the process, please contact Berkhamsted Town Council.
