Conservation strategies
Conservation strategies are designed to give a direction to both individual and development regeneration, ensuring that the buildings being created today will maintain and improve the overall aspect of the borough. We currently have two main strategies, The Conservation and Design Strategy 2014-2019 and the Hemel Hempstead Heritage Improvement Strategy.
Conservation and Design Strategy 2014-2019
A 
Conservation Strategy (PDF 1.66MB) has been produced, which lays out our aims and objectives in respect of conservation and design until 2019. It was approved at Cabinet on 24 November 2015.
Hemel Hempstead Heritage Improvement Strategy
The Heritage Improvement Strategy (PDF 4.29MB) was produced in November 2012 in conjunction with the Hemel Hempsted Town Centre Masterplan.
