Census 2021

What is the census?

The census - which is run by the Office for National Statistics - is a once-in-a-decade survey that gives us a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales - the most detailed information we have about our society.

The census will help organisations make decisions on planning and funding public services in your area, including transport, education and healthcare.
