Elections and voting
We are responsible for running all elections in Dacorum. However, at a General Election we are only responsible for the Hemel Hempstead Constituency. Properties that fall under Harpenden and Berkhamsted Constituency during a General Election are run by St Albans City and District Council. Properties that fall under South West Herts Constituency during a General Election are run by Three Rivers District Council.
In Dacorum, you are represented by:
- one or more Dacorum Borough Councillors
- one or more Town or Parish Councillors (if you live in a town or parish area)
- a Hertfordshire County Councillor
- a Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire
- a Member of Parliament (MP)
