Council Tax - tell us someone has died
A relative, friend or solicitor of the deceased should inform us of the death as soon as possible.
Tell Us Once (TUO) is a free service. It enables you to report a death to most government departments in one go, including Council Tax.
When you register the death, you will receive a unique Tell Us Once reference number. This will enable you to access the TUO service online.
