Completed developments

Barton Close, Wilstone (completed October 2023)

This development of six homes - a mixture of two and three-bedroom houses - provides much-needed housing for social rent in the sought-after village of Wilstone. One house is fully accessible.

The homes are on under-used Council land and are designed to complement the surrounding properties. They are energy-efficient and feature photovoltaic panels, electric air source heat pump heating/hot water and increased insulation. Each home has an electric charger point and a private parking bay.

Hampton Close (Aragon Close), Hemel Hempstead (completed August 2022)

This development - on a former garage site - provides move-on accommodation for rough sleepers within the borough and includes eight self-contained units. Each unit features a fitted kitchen, furniture and cooking utensils.

Coniston Road, Kings Langley (completed summer 2022)

This development consists of 10 two-bedroom and three-bedroom homes, including a fully compliant wheelchair house, all for social rent in Kings Langley.

Project managed by our team, the homes back onto open fields and are designed to complement the neighbouring existing properties to the side. They are also energy efficient, featuring solar panels and increased insulation to the fabric above the current building regulation requirements. In addition, each home has an electric vehicle charging point and private parking space. Our contractor was Bugler Developments Ltd.

Magenta Court, London Road, Apsley (completed September 2020)

This multi-award-nominated canalside project comprises 29 one-and two-bedroom flats, all for social rent. The development is next to the old Apsley Paper Mill buildings and the Grand Union Canal.

Jarvis Contracting Ltd were appointed as the main contractor and all of our new residents have now moved in.

School End Crescent and Old School House, Boxted Road, Hemel Hempstead (completed October 2020)

The site of this former primary school in Boxted Road has provided 65 new homes. It consists of 19 one-and two-bedroom flats for social rent and 46 two-and three-bedroom houses for a mix of social rent and market sale.

Bugler Group were the main contractor and all of our new social housing residents have now moved in.

Williams House, Northend and Howe Grove House, Westerdale, Hemel Hempstead (completed summer 2020)

Northend and Westerdale are two former council garage sites and they have provided us with 12 flats to support our residents in need of temporary accommodation. There are 10 two-bedroom and two one-bedroom flats.

FSG were appointed as the main contractor for both sites.

Kylna Court, Maylands (completed January 2019)

This site is former industrial land in Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead. The project for 79 new council homes for social rent was completed in January 2019 and we are pleased that all residents have now settled into their new homes. There are 42 one-bedroom and 37 two-bedroom flats, as well as eight business units and a reception area on the ground floor. This new Kylna Business Centre supplements and supports the successful Maylands Business Centre.

Corn Mill Court, Berkhamsted (completed September 2019)

In September 2019, tenants moved into their new homes at Swing Gate Lane, Berkhamsted. The attractive, town centre development consists of nine one-and two-bedroom flats and three two-and three-bedroom houses for social rent.

Westdene, Bingham Mews, Gaddesden Row (completed January 2021)

This small development consists of three two-bedroom council homes for social rent in the rural area of Gaddesden Row. The site is designed to complement the adjacent housing association site, bringing much-needed social homes for local residents.
