Housing immigration inspections

If you are applying to come to the UK you may have to confirm that you are moving into accommodation that is of a suitable standard.

Our officers can carry out an inspection to confirm that the property meets the required standards.

How to request an inspection

To request an inspection, please email pshousing@dacorum.gov.uk. We will send you an application form and details on how to pay.

What you can expect from us

Once we receive your completed form and payment, we will arrange an inspection of the property as soon as possible. 

The full property must be available for inspection. If this is not the case, we will be unable to confirm the property’s suitability.

If the property meets the required standards, we will give you a confirmation letter. This can then be passed on alongside your application for entry.

The cost of an inspection is £228.
